Drugs over Dinner

 

Please join the Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities in partnership with the Waterford Coalition for Youth, Oakland County Families Against Narcotics and Bryan’s Hope, in the LGI Room of Waterford Mott High School on October 10 at 7:00 p.m.  

 

This important and informative evening will help parents learn how to break down the barriers of talking with your students about drugs and addiction. Michael DeLeon, CEO of Steered Straight: "Because you can’t scare kids straight today will be the featured speaker.

 

The issues are real and they’re here.  This can happen in any family. There are no exemptions to the risk. Knowledge and conversation are critical to prevention. The event is free and open to the public.  For any questions please contact the Waterford Coalition for youth at 248-618-7424.

3rd Annual 5K Zombie Run

and Mini-Monster Mile

The Waterford Coalition for Youth invites you to sign up for the 3rd Annual
5k Zombie Run and Mini-Monster-Mile on Saturday, October 22, 2016.
Join in this family-fun event for all ages as dusk nears, in what promises
to be a spooktacular evening running through the scenic and
“zombified” trails of Hess Hathaway Park in Waterford.
 
Top Male and Female 5k awards!
Best  Dressed Zombie Awards!
Water station on the course!
Medals for all runners!
Coupons to RoadID included in all bibs!
T-shirts guaranteed to all who register by October 16!
Family fun for all ages!
Zombies on the course do not interfere with the runners.
$30, $20 and $15 registration fees.
 
 
The Mini-Monster Mile starts at 5 pm and the 5k Zombie Run begins at 6 pm.
Check-in starts at 3:30 p.m.
